Ian Morrison

As joint Managing Director at Strategic Wealth Services Ian oversees the management and operation of the business to ensure it functions with cohesion and care for both clients and the team. Ian joined Strategic in 1997 and has overseen the growth from a three-person financial planning business to a multi-disciplinary practice now also providing accounting and superannuation services.

As a highly skilled and knowledgeable Financial Planner with 35 plus years’ experience in financial services, Ian works with the team to deliver a focused, personalised service to address client needs, concerns and aspirations.

Ian adopts an empathetic approach to listening to truly understand his clients individual and family circumstances. Through this he creates strategic solutions to help clients manage their financial affairs to ensure they feel confident that their life goals and dreams are achievable. 

Other than the deep sense of satisfaction Ian gains from supporting clients and the Strategic Wealth Services team, he values spending time with his wife, four adult children and six grandchildren. He has an adventurous streak finding enjoyment in motorcycle riding in exotic locations, loves music and plays the drums and has more recently found pleasure and relaxation in playing golf with his wife and friends.
