Michael Houlihan

As joint Managing Director at Strategic Wealth Services, Michael oversees the strategic direction of the business and leads the Self-Managed Superannuation Fund division. With extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, and commitment to staying abreast of the superannuation landscape and taxation legislation, Michael is well placed to lead the Strategic team in providing clients with both financial and superannuation advice.

As a Financial Planner, Michael adopts his analytical and numerical reasoning capabilities and strategic planning skills to help clients achieve their financial and life goals. He is also adept in managing retail, industry, corporate and self-managed superannuation funds.

With 40 years’ experience in financial services including several CEO roles, Michael has held an extensive list of Board positions including several at Eltham College and at present with Strategic Wealth Services, Evergreen Fund Managers P/L and Self-Managed Super Fund Association.

Outside his business commitments, Michael is passionate about AFL, currently playing for Diamond Valley Super Rules Football Club and coaching Lower Plenty in the Northern Football League.
